What is TCS ?

The Technology Commercialization Society (TCS) is a student-led organization at the University of Hong Kong hosted by the TEC dedicated to nurturing HKU community members to become future leaders in high tech industry. We empower HKU students/post-docs to prepare for and excel in technology entrepreneurship by offering a series of advanced training programs in patent strategy, business creation, and hands-on projects. Students/post-docs will be equipped with the skills and gain opportunities to advance their careers in high tech industry such as patent firms, investment firms and setting up their own startups with their own ideas and/or the intellectual properties from HKU.

We work closely with industry practitioners, founders, and HKU units. Through hands-on projects, strategic training, and deep exposure to frontier technologies, our members gain the skills the world truly needs — and become the driving force behind the innovations that shape tomorrow.
